The Java Spelling Framework

The Java Spelling Framework consists of a set of Java API and Beans which provide a spell checking service for Java Applets and Swing Applications. This service has been available to Cocoa programmers since the first release of Mac OS X. However, the Cocoa API are specific to the frameworks within Cocoa and do not work outside of the Cocoa environment, nor do they work with Java Beans based visual builders such as JBuilder. The Java Spelling Framework found in these packages addresses this shortfall.
